吳英，南開大學的教授。2005年畢業於南開大學信息技術科學學院控制理論與控制工程專業，獲得工學博士學位。社會兼職： 全國計算機等級考試命題委員會成員。

2005年畢業於南開大學信息技術科學學院控制理論與控制工程專業，獲得工學博士學位。社會兼職： 全國計算機等級考試命題委員會成員。

近年來，主持和參加國家部委、天津市課題，以及橫向合作項目9項；在國內外學術會議和國內刊物發表論文20餘篇，其中EI檢索15篇；獨立撰寫和組織翻譯教材7本，其中列入十一五規劃教材1本。
