劉夏燕，女，漢族，1983年6月出生，博士，西北農林科技大學副教授。

人物經歷
2005年畢業於復旦大學並獲得理學學士學位（生物科學專業）。2010年畢業於美國愛荷華州立大學（Iowa State University）並獲得遺傳學博士學位。2010年6月參加西北農林科技大學生命科學學院工作。
研究方向
1. 高等植物葉綠體發育的分子機理: 以擬南芥花斑突變體var2和var2修飾突變體為材料研究葉綠體發育過程中的基因互作關係。
2. 重要農藝性狀相關基因功能研究：以遺傳學手段為基礎，篩選與植物重要農藝性狀相關的擬南芥突變體。通過分子生物學，生物化學等多種手段研究相關基因在調節植物生長發育過程中的作用。
