周耀錕，1945年出生,江西清江人,國家一級演奏員,曾在中央民族樂團任樂隊首席20年，擔任中、日、韓三國藝術家組成的亞洲樂團第一任樂隊首席，並在首屆中國藝術節上榮任中華千人大樂隊的首席。被國務院授予“有突出貢獻的藝術家”，文化部首批“尖子演員”，現為中國音樂學協會二胡學會副會長兼秘書長。多年來，他致力於二胡藝術，無論是演奏、創作、教學以及樂器改良諸方面都有精深造詣。他的演奏快捷明亮，尤以左手快指換把敏捷見長，其剛柔相濟，粗獷樸實成為周先生獨特的演奏風格。他創作改編二胡樂曲達30餘首。在民族拉弦樂器的改革方面，他作了大量創新試驗，亦多次在全國性的二胡及民族樂器演奏比賽中擔任評審委員，並在全國各大音樂學院藝術學院講學兼課，培養了大批青年二胡演奏人才。

張銳：二胡演奏家，作曲家。1926年出生於雲南昆明。張銳自幼隨父學藝，演奏二胡、京胡。後在重慶國立音樂學院師從陳振鐸，主學二胡。又曾在重慶音樂教導員訓練班學習作曲和指揮。張銳的二胡揉弦別具一格，用弓飽滿，發音剛健遼亮。他擅長演奏劉天華作品，灌制了由他演奏的劉天華十首二胡作品唱片專輯。他對二胡的表演藝術深有研究，從美學角度提出二胡演奏藝術十二個美的願望。張銳的主要作品有歌劇《紅霞》、二胡曲《蒼山十八澗山歌》、《山林中》、《沂蒙山》等，著有《張銳二胡練習曲》一書。
張銳大師是中國近現代樂壇上舉足輕重的二胡演奏家及作曲家，他在樂界大量而不斷地投射光芒，為同輩演奏家所望塵莫及！尤其他演奏的《二泉映月》一曲，音色哀婉而銳利，被譽為最神似 “阿炳”的詮釋，至今無人能出其右！專輯還特別收錄張大師二胡協奏曲力作【蝴蝶泉組曲】，使得整張專輯更完整地呈現出張銳大師畢生淬鍊的二胡演奏藝術之多個面向！

甘柏林:1935年9月29日生於湖南省長沙市，自幼雙目失明。1946年春進長沙盲校，跟武泗玉(盲人)老師學習二胡、笛子、揚琴，1947年專攻二胡。1950年，在湖南廣播電台錄製了二胡獨奏曲《空山鳥語》、《光明行》，被稱為"少年二胡能手"。1951年，被保送南京盲啞學校，隨宋廷亮(盲人)老師學習二胡，期間曾得到二胡演奏家張銳、甘濤老師指教。1955年被選送北京中國盲人訓練班音樂班，隨劉北茂教授學習二胡，並得到蔣鳳之、張韶、劉明沅等先生的指導。1956年參加了"第一屆全國音樂周"，演奏《懷鄉行》、《二泉映月》等曲目，被譽為"青年二胡演奏家"。此後，曾先後赴朝鮮、南斯拉夫、西班牙、美國、埃及等國訪問演出。在北京、長春、吉林、長沙、台北、台中、香港等地舉辦二胡獨奏音樂會，多次到中央電台、中國唱片社錄音，錄製唱片，唱片還遠銷澳大利亞、前蘇聯、東歐、新加坡等國家，成為馳名中外的盲人二胡演奏家。1986年中國旅行音像社錄製甘柏林演奏的阿炳、劉天華作品盒式磁帶，1988年太平洋影音公司廣西音像公司出版了甘柏林演奏的《馬頭琴之歌》、《湘江樂》等三十餘首二胡名曲的盒式磁帶，在國內、外發行，受到好評。1994年，台灣中國龍唱片公司，灌制了甘柏林演奏的《劉天華、華彥均二胡傳世名曲》的音樂CD。1979年被評為吉林藝術院音樂系副教授，1985年評為教授，在他的積極倡導下，長春大學創辦了殘疾人音樂、美術等專業班，現已發展為長春大學特殊教育學院。1989年擔任中國特殊藝術團團長赴美演出，為我國特殊藝術事業作出突出貢獻。
1988年任中國盲協主席。1992年獲得國務院頒發的表演藝術事業中有突出貢獻專家待遇。1998年當選中國殘聯副主席。1998年任第九屆全國政協委員。
甘柏林主要著述有：《盲人和音樂》(1982年《人民音樂》10期刊登) 《從時代、作品看二胡演奏風格的形成與發展》(1985年全國二胡學術討論會上的講演)、《緬懷傑出的盲人音樂家華彥鈞》(1983年紀念阿炳誕辰90周年學術討論會上的發言)。甘柏林主要創作作品有：二胡獨奏曲《草原情歌》(1959年人民音樂出版社出版二胡曲集第四集)，《心向北京唱豐收》(與朱連喜合作，1979年人民音樂出版杜出版)。
