研究方向

中藥及天然藥物的化學研究。從天然資源或傳統中藥單方及複方中，提取分離及純化單體化合物，確定其化學結構，並通過藥理篩選確定活性成分。對常用中藥的活性部位進行成分分析或對活性成分進行結構鑑定。通過化學及藥理活性的研究，闡明藥物作用的物質基礎，並建立藥材的合理質量控制方法，對活性好的化合物通過化學結構修飾尋找高效低毒的先導化合物。進行新藥的研究與開發，在明確有效成分或有效部位的前提下，進行新藥製備工藝及質量標準的研究。

主要貢獻

自1987年以來一直從事天然藥物化學研究和中藥新藥研發的工作。在Chem.Pharm.Bull、Phytochemmistry、Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communication等SCI雜誌和國核心心期刊上發表論文100餘篇。在清華大學生物系藥物藥理研究室工作期間，主要從事新藥的研究和開發，與藥理學教授合作申請發明專利多項，開發5類中藥新藥3個，現已進入臨床研究階段。自2010年6月起，籌建清華大學生物醫學測試中心藥物發現平台，現任平台主管。

“抗腫瘤新藥紫杉醇及其注射液的研究和開發”在 1995年獲得5類西藥新藥證書並轉讓給協和藥廠。該項研究1996年獲衛生部科技進步一等獎，1997年獲國家科技進步獎三等獎。
