《周六夜現場》（Saturday Night Live，縮寫SNL，又稱周末夜現場）是美國一檔於周六深夜時段直播的喜劇小品類綜藝節目，由洛恩·麥可斯創立，為迪克·埃伯索爾所繼承發展。節目以紐約市為拍攝地，於1975年10月11日起在全國廣播公司（NBC）首播，截至2016年5月21日第41季完結日已播出808集，是美國電視史上最長壽的節目之一。

節目由一系列諷刺惡搞當下政治和文化的喜劇小品組成，每周都有不同的客座主持人與音樂來賓加入，與該節目的固定卡司一同演出。節目在大西洋標準時區、北美東部時區、北美中部時區均以現場直播的方式播出。

劇情簡介

原本的節目名稱為《NBC的周六夜》（NBC's Saturday Night），直到NBC於1976年更動名稱為止（周末夜現場這個名稱與ABC同時段的短壽節目名稱撞名，直到該節目被停播，NBC才使用此名稱）。改名後的第一集在1977年3月26日播出。

Saturday Night Live簡稱SNL，中文譯名《周六夜現場》是NBC電視台一檔已經播到第40季的綜藝節目。很多著名的喜劇演員都是演SNL出身，諸如Chris Rock，Will Ferrel，Julia Louis-Dreyfus，Eddie Murphy，Mike Myers，Adam Sandler這些赫赫有名的喜劇演員都曾經是SNL的卡司成員，非常走紅的Tina Fey和Amy Poehler也是由SNL起步，有了自己的劇集。Tina Fey甚至是SNL 30多年歷史上的首位女性主筆。她一手打造的30 Rock正是以SNL為背景的。

SNL最大的特點是結合當下最熱點話題，用惡搞的小品來針砭時事，可以視其為流行文化的一面鏡子。由於SNL播出時間段較晚，所以尺度相對一般美劇會稍微大一點，惡搞的笑料從來也不缺乏話題。

每集SNL都會有一位表演嘉賓和一位音樂嘉賓。表演嘉賓會參與到小品的表演中，往往能讓人看到該嘉賓不同的一面，並且這樣的喜劇表演也是其演技的試金石。而音樂嘉賓通常是當下當紅的歌星，會進行現場表演。

節目起源

1975年，NBC時任總裁赫伯特▪施洛瑟找到喜劇界金牌製作人洛恩▪麥可斯，希望他能為NBC的周六晚間黃金收視段創作一檔優秀的綜藝節目。麥可斯隨後以”高素質喜劇“的製作理念創作出這樣一檔以數個惡搞喜劇小品配以音樂表演為主要內容的綜藝電視節目。

在2012年《周六夜現場》的第37季第16集中，FOX REPORT首先採訪了羅姆尼和他的妻子安，還有公開支持羅姆尼的搖滾歌手Kid Rock。

本期主持人是現場常客林賽·羅韓，各種吸毒、盜竊醜聞纏身的林賽來到節目現場也受到嚴密監控，不過她還是很愉快地在接下來的節目中不斷地調侃自己，展現了其娛樂精神.....本期音樂嘉賓是Jack Wh。

韓國版

2012年，美國 NBC 頻道的知名節目 Saturday Night Live 橫跨太平洋，前進韓國製作韓國版！韓國版的節目就名為《Saturday Night Live Korea》(SNLK)，將由 tvN 播出，而韓版的節目形式會和美國的節目一樣，走喜劇路線，每周都會有來賓上節目客串演出搞笑橋段。

這對韓國電視圈來說是一個全新的節目形式 ─ live 喜劇，SNLK 的班底會有 16 位極具天賦的演員和喜劇演員，包括李慧英、李漢威…等等。

SNLK 的導演張鎮表示：「SNL 裡面大概分成 10 小塊吧，而且這會是現場播出。也因為這是以 live 的方式呈現，所以所有東西從頭到尾一定都要有劇本，所有可能會出錯的部分也要列入計畫之中。這 (指 SNLK) 大概是我做過的所有計畫中最讓我緊張的計畫了…」

而 SNLK 的內容也會像美國的一樣，惡搞國家的政治、文化、經濟狀況等等。導演繼續說：「SNLK 和其他節目有個不同處，那就是我們處在政治和搞笑的邊緣上。在一般節目中，這也是一大焦點，我們不想因此拒絕這樣的話題或是放水。我們會在苛薄的評斷社會時大笑，並嘲笑社會，也會控制所有的話題在中立立場。甚至 tvN 如果打算動搖整個節目的核心，我們也會乾脆的退出。」

第一集的節目會在 12 月 3 日播出，當天的客串來賓是金柱赫。
