1954年12月25日，Annie Lennox出生於蘇格蘭的阿伯丁。Annie Lennox（安妮·藍妮克絲），這個在國
際流行樂壇迴響了二十四年的名字，她是80年代紅遍歐美樂壇的“Eurythmics（舞韻合唱團）”女主唱、
兩座葛萊美獎得主、曾被VH1音樂頻道評為“樂壇一百位最偉大女性”，而2002年她又獲選為美國知名的公告
牌音樂雜誌“2002年度世紀音樂獎”得主。
這個獎於1992年創立，Annie是第11位被授與這項殊榮的藝人，得到這個獎，也象徵著Annie在歌壇的地位與披頭士的喬治哈里森、比利喬、山塔那等人齊名，一樣在歌壇中
有著不可被取代的崇高地位。
