【背景】Love never dies的劇情發生在科尼島Coney Island，為什麼Phantom會去科尼島？
科尼島曾經一度在美國是非常著名的遊樂勝地。
像一個大型的主題公園遊樂場一樣，與眾不同的是，那裡有很多奇怪的人，
俗稱freak show 怪人秀。
所以，韋伯說，當他第一次去到科尼島的時候，就覺得那是Phantom最好的棲身地。逃出巴黎歌劇院之後，沒有任何地方比科尼島更適合Phantom了。
ok，背景說完了，開始主題啦！！！
整個劇情就是從科尼島開始的。
靜謐的海灘，只能聽到海鷗和海風的聲音。殘破的現在的科尼島，一個小女孩在唱歌，在幻想當年科尼島的輝煌。
她認出了當初的Madame Giry (之前巴黎歌劇院裡面的領班一樣的角色，她的女兒就是女主角Christine最好的朋友Meg)
然後，從現在殘破的科尼島，引出了當時科尼島的輝煌。
科尼島的宗旨就是：Every fantasy set free... 釋放你所有的幻想。
然後大家就能看見，現在的科尼島的女主角，Meg，現在她是這裡最出名的女演員，歌劇Diva。
在這裡，她算是什麼表演都做，穿著性感，在台上賣弄風情。
Meg每天認真練習，就是為了有一天，Phantom可以去看她的演出，可以為她寫歌。
Madame Giry說看到Phantom又在繼續創作了，Meg很開心的，以為Phantom是在為了她寫歌，終於有一天，她的夢想可以達成了。
此時想起了"Only for him/Only for you" 這首歌。
而在後台，在科尼島的Phantom辦公的地方，
Phantom自己唱著Till I hear you sing...
他在自己的房間放了一個Christine的模型，十年來，他無時無刻不想念著Christine，他想著，期待著Christine能再為她唱一次歌。
就是Phantom所唱的Till I hear you sing ONCE MORE...
對於Phantom來說，沒有Christine的十年，活著只是一種假象。
晚上，他能夢見Christine的存在，但是醒來，能觸摸到的只是空氣。
知道他聽到Christine再唱歌的時候，他那粉碎的靈魂才能重新復活。。。
正在Phantom唱完Till Ihear you sing的時候，Meg闖進來，Phantom急忙遮住Christine的模型。
Meg興奮的奔向Phantom希望Phantom告訴她，這次他有聽她唱歌。
她想問問他有什麼意見，是不是覺得她表演得很好，或者如果他不喜歡，她可以做任何的改動。她承諾她會進步。。。
只要能讓觀眾開心，Meg甚至不介意穿著得再暴露一點。。。
Meg的母親Madame Giry制止了Meg的說話，因為Giry能看出來Phantom的心思不在Meg這裡，她知道Phantom每天都思念著更重要的東西。
而那樣東西，絕對不是Meg。
Madame Giry發現了Phantom私藏的Christine的模型，她明白了，這十年來，無論她和她的女兒做什麼，Phantom永遠不會忘記Christine。
但是Madame Giry和Phantom對峙，“說當你需要的時候，誰在你身邊，這么久Christine都到哪裡去了？”
Giry還說，這么久，她們幫助Phantom買下了這個地方，甚至Meg還為了他們的前途一路暢通，不惜一切地去討好當地的政要。
（說到這裡，要解釋一下了。
音樂劇和電影的結局第一部是不一樣的。
音樂劇的結局是，最後Phantom逃離了巴黎歌劇院，最後一幕，是Meg一個人跪在舞台上，
捧著Phantom的面具，其實，從那個時候開始，就能看出來她對phantom的傾慕，
這也是為什麼她和媽媽要跟著Phantom去到美國，而為了他，她什麼都願意付出。
只是希望，她的愛，有一天能夠引起Phantom對她的注意）

【第四帖】一艘來自法國的巨輪停泊在曼哈頓的港口。
歌劇Diva Christine和丈夫Raoul以及他們的兒子Gustave下船。
一大群記者蜂擁上去，不停地提問。
有記者提出一個問題，說明Christine他們此行的真正目的。
記者問：傳說Raoul在一張賭桌上輸掉了他們所有的身家，是真的嗎？
這就是一家人到美國的原因，因為Raoul的嗜賭，全家已經負債累累，不過面對一個巨額報酬的邀請函，雖然他們都不知道這個科林島的幕後老闆到底是什麼樣的神秘人物，
Christine還是決定去科林島演出，為Raoul還債。
到達曼哈頓港口的時候，來了一批獨角獸拉的馬車，下來兩個很怪異的僕人，接Christine一家三口去科林島。
到了科林島之後，Raoul就開始抱怨這個“鬼地方”，說他們根本不該來到這裡。
住下之後，Gustave收到一份禮物，一個音樂盒，
和第一部中小猴子的音樂盒如出一轍，（不過不記得音樂是什麼樣子的了）
Raoul看到很生氣，就狠狠踢了音樂盒一腳，離開了。

（不記得兩個音樂的音樂是不是一樣了）
【第五貼】 Gustave很可愛的對父親說："Father please come and play with me..."
結果Raoul很生氣地說"Please tell the boy the answer is NO"
Raoul走了之後，Gustave問母親，為什麼父親總是不喜歡他。
（其實看到這裡的時候，我在偷笑，心想孩子肯定不是Raoul的。哈哈，扯遠了）
<然後這裡開始鋪墊啦！！！> Christine叫Gustave不要用眼睛去看，因為眼睛不總是對的，要用心靈去觀察。因為heart永遠不會欺騙自己！
響起啦：Look with your heart...
Christine還告訴孩子，不是所有的事物的表面都是美麗的，要閉上眼睛，用心靈去看，去感受，去理解。
Gustave是一個很懂事的孩子，告訴母親他明白了，
forget what you think,
ignore what you hear,
look with your heart, it is always clear.
Life is not always beautiful...
【第6貼】
跟孩子說了晚安之後，Christine一個人站在房間裡思考。
覺得這裡的一切都是那樣的與眾不同，覺得這個地方一定有它的故事。
突然響起了聽上去有點邪惡的音樂（之前整個theatre都瀰漫著夜晚的靜謐）
Phantom出現在Chrstine的陽台上。
然後就是Phantom和Chrstine的合唱 Beneath a Moonless Sky
整首曲子，可以看到Phantom和Christine才是真正的靈魂伴侶。
比起Raoul現在的嗜賭如命，Phantom才真正能理解Christine對音樂的熱愛，他才能給她，她想要得到的一切，那樣的音樂，那樣的生活，和那樣的愛情。
他們唱起：
“曾經有這樣的一個晚上，在沒有月光的天空下，
看不到Phantom的臉，只能感覺到他的靈魂”
（然後就是邪惡的部分啦。。。^3^）
"And I touched you,
I felt you..."
然後是合唱：Once upon another time
他們兩一個唱歌的時候，很多次，他們兩都想走到一起，他們的一隻手想要觸到對方的手，但是卻總是碰不到。
（給人的感覺就是他們兩是那樣的match，那樣的適合對方，但是總有一種東西，一種無形的阻礙隔在他們中間，讓他們兩不能走到一起）
在那個美麗的陽台下，一個沒有月光的夜晚，
有一對這樣的情侶，彼此深愛著對方，
卻永遠被世俗，被表面的現象，所隔開。

然後Gustave突然衝出來，對著Christine唱著，他很害怕，夢見了一個從來沒有見過的人，讓他感到害怕，抓住了他，然後要淹死他。
Gustave看見房間裡的男人---Phantom，Christine給他介紹：“這是我的老朋友，Mr Y, 也是這裡的老闆”
Gustave敬佩，充滿好奇地看著Phantom問他：“這個地方是你的嗎？”
（同樣的地方，如果一個其他的小孩子，早就嚇壞了，不過Gustave覺得，整個地方充滿了神奇魔幻的色彩，他對一切都那么好奇，覺得所有的一切都讓他那么喜歡）
Phantom告訴他：不管Gustave想去哪裡，他都會帶他去。
Gustave說，他想要去看這一切魔幻的背後，想要看所有奇幻黑暗的東西。
Phantom答應他，說第二天帶他去看到全部的東西。

第二天，
Dear Old Friend這首歌的開頭超級可愛的，是Meg和一群唱合唱的女孩一起排練。
Giry給女兒說，看到Phantom又在作曲了，看他連夜都在作曲，肯定是一些輝煌巨作。Meg很激動，以為多年地等待終於有了結果。
結果Meg剛好遇到了參觀舞台，找更衣室的Christine，Giry遇到了Raoul，他們一起唱起了Dear Old Friend。
此時，Raoul也終於明白了，是phantom安排他們來這裡的一切，全部都是Phantom的計畫。
而Meg也終於明白了，Phantom作曲的原因，是因為Christine來了。
另一個場景，
Phantom的屬下帶著Gustave一邊唱著Beautiful，一邊到處參觀。
Gustave看到一個巨大的鋼琴，隨心彈出一小段音樂。
Phantom問他是哪裡來的曲子，Gustave說，只是腦海間突然跳躍出來的幾個音符。（哈哈，又是一個鋪墊）
Phantom說，這個男孩子，有10歲了。My GOD... 然後他意識到，Gustave是他的孩子了。
然後Phantom和Gustave一起唱起了"Yhe Beauty Underneath"
因為只有Gustave能看出Phantom這一切的美好。
他們都有一樣的音樂天賦，連喜歡的東西都是差不多的
Gustave唱得太開心了，Phantom把他舉起來，放在鋼琴上面，
兩人繼續唱歌。
Gustave的好奇心太重，伸手去揭開了Phantom的面具。
Gustave尖叫一聲，然後跑了。
Phantom很生氣，此時Christine也來了。
Phantom問Christine，你是不是有事情沒有交代。
Christine又唱起了他們的那首歌"Once upon another time... you left me with our son"
（有人想問，他們是什麼時候有的這個孩子。
"Underneath a Moonless Sky這首歌裡面有詳述，是在Christine和Raoul結婚的前一天晚上，Christine找到了藏起來了的Phantom……細閱歌詞便能參透了）
Phantom說這個孩子，和他媽媽一樣，看到Phantom的樣子，被表面的事物嚇到，然後逃跑了。
Phantom自己在家裡繼續唱著，
10年了，他有了這個孩子，他生活的一切都有了希望，他會把他這裡所有的一切都了留給這個孩子。
可是，Madame Giry聽到了Phantom唱的這一切。
第二幕啦~~~
紐約的某一個大橋下，頹廢的Raoul獨自在那裡喝酒。
他一個人，獨自唱著：Why does she love me?
講述著這么多年了，他和Christine的生活並不順利。
他不能理解Christine多音樂的熱愛，更理解不了她的溫情。
他唱著：
“她看起來如此可憐，
我給她帶來了痛苦；
她需要的是誠實，
我去借都沒有；
她需要我溫柔的吻，
她向我乞求，
而我給她的是醜惡。
她為什麼會愛我？
她需要的是更多的東西，
那些我不能給她的東西；
音樂給她帶來的那種心跳，
我不能帶給她；
甚至是她唱歌的時候，
在天空中翱翔，
而我卻試著去剪斷她的翅膀，
為什麼她會愛我？
她想要的是曾經的那個我，
一個丈夫，和父親；
她以為她是那樣想的
。。。。。。” （翻譯得不是很好，言語不優美，大家湊合著看看就好）
剛好此時遇到了游泳後的Meg。
兩人聊天,Meg想要他帶著Christine離開，這樣Meg就能唱歌。
也能讓過去永遠過去，當太陽重新升起的時候，Raoul和Christine重新開始。
突然Meg看到了什麼恐懼的東西一樣的，跑掉了。
Raoul對她喊著，“你以為我是害怕Phantom？我曾經和他對峙過，如果他現在敢來面對我，像一個男人一樣。。。”
此時那個酒吧的酒保突然轉過身來。結果是Phantom裝扮成酒保的樣子，
Raoul馬上害怕到後退（10年，他真的改變了好多，現在只是一個懦夫）
Phantom說他很可憐，問他敢不敢打一個賭。
賭Christine會留在這裡。
如果Christine今晚唱歌表演，就說明phantom贏了，讓Raoul從此從Christine面前消失。。。
如果Christine不唱歌，
那就是Phantom輸掉，Phantom會幫Raoul還債，然後Raoul他們一家人可以自己離開。
Raoul說，“我們有一個兒子，這個賭我贏定了”
Phantom問他：“你確定嗎？你真的確定是你的兒子嗎？”（厄~~~ 也太傷人自尊了吧。。。）
還問Raoul，“你覺得你的兒子更像我還是你？”
【第10貼】
答應這個賭注就是算了，沒有想到，Raoul真的像一個小丑一樣，去討好Christine想要帶她走。
（我真的不明白他是真的愛她，還是想要還掉他的賭債。）
Raoul穿著得和第一次看Christine演出穿的那套衣服一樣，還是帶上一隻紅色的玫瑰，去看Christine。想要Christine跟他走。Christine說：“我們要唱歌給你還債啊”Christine拒絕離開。
Raoul走之後，Phantom走到後台，Christine的房間，送給Christine一條漂亮的項鍊，表演用的。
（看到這裡，我正想說，為什麼這一次Christine上台，和之前不一樣，沒有了漂亮的打扮，連件像樣的首飾都沒有，突然想起來，被Raoul都輸光了。。哎。。。）
他預祝Christine表演成功。
到Christine表演的時候，她唱起了Love never dies...
同時，兩個男人在旁邊，一個不斷激勵她唱歌，另一個想要帶著她走。
最後她決定留下來唱歌。
Raoul自己離開了。
Meg 知道後，傷心欲絕，擄走了Gustave。
Christine，Phantom與Giry找到了Meg。Meg放開Gustave後，唱了這些年為了跟著Phantom所有受的苦。
她掏出手槍，想要自殺。Phantom在爭奪Meg手中的槍時，槍走火了。擊中在Phantom身後的Christine。
Phantom撲過去摟著Christine，Christine告訴兒子他的親生父親其實是Phantom。
Gustave不敢相信，大叫一聲“NO！”，跑掉了。
Christine讓Phantom記住“Love never dies”，悲痛欲絕的Phantom給了Christine最後一吻。
Gustave帶著Raoul回來了。
