樂隊簡介

兩位表兄弟主唱gary levox、貝司手jay demarcus和好朋友吉它手joe don rooney三個人於1999年成立了鄉村音樂三人組合“rascal flatts”，他們的同名首張專輯在發行後的第一周就賣出了11,274張，登上了billboard鄉村音樂專輯排行榜的第14名，在billboard專輯排行榜上名列第122。他們吸收了福音、藍草音樂，pop和r&b的音樂元素，形成了自己緊密和諧的鄉村音樂風格。 livox和demarcus兩人是在俄亥俄州哥倫布的音樂世家中長大的。他們的母親是表姐妹，兩家都習慣全家人圍坐在一起演奏音樂。demarcus的祖父教給他藍草音樂，並教會他演奏原聲吉它和班卓琴。他曾在搖滾樂隊和鄉村樂隊中演奏，1972年，他搬到了納什維爾nashville，開始和基督教歌手michael english一起工作。
