The Ready Set

The Ready Set 是一個美國的另類搖滾、電子和流行音樂組合。2007年正式組建。有趣的是，這個組合只有一名正式成員，他就是Jordan Witzigreuter。 Jordan Witzigreuter曾在接受採訪時表示：“The Ready Set只有我，並且將永遠只有我一個人。”不過在巡迴演出時，會有另外三個隊員臨時加入：貝斯手Andy Snyder，鼓手Travis Rountree和吉他手Keegan Weckler。之所以出現這種有趣的現象，是因為“Witzigreuter”這個姓氏發音非常複雜繞口。

Jordan Witzigreuter出生於1989年11月14日，家鄉在印第安那州的Fort Wayne（韋恩堡）。早期時，他曾在父母家的地下室里製作音樂。14歲時第一次拿起吉他，當時他已經是很多當地樂隊的成員，但他意識到他真正想要的是他自己的聲音。在16歲這個年輕小伙子開始了個人獨奏項目。

2009年3月27日，The Ready Set發行了自己的第一張專輯《Tantrum Castle》，同年11月，The Ready Set和Decaydance Records還有Sire Records簽約，並且在2010年春天發布了他的第二張專輯《I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming》，第三張專輯將在2012年春季推出。

與The Ready Set一同共享過同一個舞台的樂隊有Hey Monday， Stereo Skyline，Boys Like Girls，Never Shout Never和The Scene Aesthetic。
