This hour long documentary, shot on digital video by first time director Emmy Lam, profiles the salsa star who set the Los Angeles Latin dance scene on fire with her passionate, energetic style, thus earning her the title "The Princess of Salsa". Interviews with Josie, family, friends and members of the Latin dance community, reveal the hardships she faced as she tried to break into the L.A. salsa scene. All the while set to an infectious Latin beat, this film, though produced on a shoe-string budget, treats the audience to a whirlwind world tour as the international star journeys to perform in the exotic venues of Rome, Paris, and the Caribbean.
