《Dark Passion Play》是來自芬蘭的歌特金屬樂隊 Nightwish 夜願 的第六張專輯，同時也是新的主唱 Anette Olzon 加入後的第一張專輯，並且第一次在演唱者名單上少了 Tarja Turunen 的名字，因為她於2005年10月離開了 Nightwish 夜願。Nuclear Blast 和 Roadrunner Records 預計2007年9月26日發行的本專輯推遲到了28日，此輯也是樂隊三年來的第一張專輯，由此在樂隊的歷史上留下了一段較長的空白期。
據說製作《Dark Passion Play》總共花費了超過500,000歐元，這種製作成本是 Nightwish 夜願 之前的專輯《Once》的兩倍，也是芬蘭歷史上最昂貴的專輯。其中大部分花在了在Abbey大道的錄音室里與倫敦Session管弦樂團的合作上，另外270,000歐元用於專輯MV的拍攝。
Promo版：發行於專輯正式版之前的版本，主要用於試聽、預覽和介紹正式專輯，為正式版專輯的上市做熱身運動。
