創作背景
2006年，阿肯在參與說唱歌手Obie Trice的專輯《Snitch》的製作時，認識了埃米納姆。阿肯希望埃米納姆能為《Smack That》獻力，於是飛到了底特律找到埃米納姆與合作。阿肯感覺與埃米納姆工作並沒有什麼不同。《Smack That》由阿肯、埃米納姆、易斯·萊斯托和Mike Strange共同創作。易斯·萊斯托和Mike Strange製作了背景音樂中的電子琴伴奏，Mike Strange和Tony Compana負責歌曲的錄製。
