馬文·蓋伊(英語：Marvin Gaye，原名Marvin Pentz Gay, Jr.，1939年4月2日-1984年4月1日)，美國摩城唱片著名歌手、曲作者，有“摩城王子”之稱，對許多靈歌歌手都有巨大影響，可說是黑 人流行音樂史上一個最受人敬重及喜愛的超級巨星。
馬文·蓋伊出生在一個宗教氣氛濃厚的家庭，他是最有天賦、最富幻想、最長久不衰的明星。作為Motown公司銷量最好的藝人，他用熱情的嗓音塑造了“Motown之聲”。他能夠同時兼顧藝術要求和商業成功。
1962年他以一支敘事曲“Stubborn Kind Of Fellow”(頑固的傢伙)嶄露頭角，之後一直活躍在歌壇前沿，成為了當代黑人音樂中極有影響的人物。
他在1971年發表了代表作——專輯《What's Going On》，融合了自己深藏的信念，探究了貧窮、社會歧視、毒品泛濫、政治腐敗等問題;歌曲以他從越南戰場歸來的兄弟Frankie的視點為主線。蓋伊是那種能談論自己關心的事物並為千萬人代言的藝術家。
1982年馬文·蓋伊離開Motown加盟哥倫比亞公司，推出了他最有影響的單曲“Sexual Healing”(性的治療)。
1984年4月1日，馬文·蓋伊因與其父發生爭執而被父親槍殺在自己家中，這一天距離他的45歲生日僅有一天。
