英國女組合小混混的成員原先準備將《Pretty Girls》收錄在第三張錄音室專輯中，但是她們在創作過程中意識到該歌曲不適合她們，所以她們將該歌曲（獨唱）轉讓給布蘭妮·斯皮爾斯。布蘭妮·斯皮爾斯接納後，緣於她對伊基·阿塞莉婭的仰慕，同伊基·阿塞莉婭一起作業。在工作過程中，伊基·阿塞莉婭只是一貫地按她的私人角度改編該歌曲，並企圖將其據為己有，這時布蘭妮·斯皮爾斯便終了了她的私心。繼而她們在2014年秋季錄製了該曲。
