Mr. Resistor, who's made out of wires and spare parts, appears at the end of an electric wire. He's appointed himself in charge of providing, or not providing, a "special" satellite uplink for The Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences Sanctioned "Oscar Night" for Portland, Oregon hosted by Will Vinton.
