歌曲背景
在2015年10月8日，布蘭妮在Instagram上發了一張英國製片人DJ Burns的照片，提示有可能合作。當時，製片人DJ Burns已經和Ellie Goulding,PitbullandCalvin Harris等歌星合作過。與製片人的另一張照片,她還提及了的美國音樂家Mischke.在製片人工作室會議之前,曾在儀器記錄的一部分,混合”電音元素”,還有吉他,從而創作成”Make Me”。之後,英國作曲家喬Janiak創造了這首歌的旋律,之後還和DJ Burns共同創作了這首歌的歌詞。布蘭妮的團隊隨後聯繫了製片人,聲稱他們喜歡這個音軌，並且商討錄製方案。就像DJ Burns一開始說的一樣,”聲音音調是我的一個主要關注點,因為我想要它有某種情感,也不是像她最近的幾首單曲一樣,她做到了。我想使自動調諧的聲音聽起來更自然,所以我們在聲樂花了很多時間,使冬粉們聽起來像是發自內心的情感。我認為我們已經成功了。
