魏晨作為中國TOP榜的忠實聽眾，將多年收聽節目的心情抒寫出來，編成詞曲，專門為中國TOP排行榜打造了此首主題曲《MR TOP》並親身出演拍攝主題曲MV。
本次中國TOP排行榜全新主題曲的創作與演唱小強也參與其中，將主持中國TOP榜多年的經驗與過程中所經歷的有趣片段以RAP的形式完美地發揮出來，文字詼諧幽默，讓《MR TOP》散發出別樣魅力。
此外，國內著名音樂製作人譚伊哲老師也坐鎮其中，擔當《MR TOP》的音樂製作人，用專業的音樂製作手法呈現出歌曲最完美的一面。

在MV當中，魏晨化身電台DJ，用歌聲詮釋自己的“MR TOP”。MV拍攝場景取景也走進了音樂之聲直播間，魏晨在直播間中客串DJ在主播台演唱時大呼過癮，感覺本次MV的拍攝給予自己一份新的體驗。
在拍攝過程中攝製組採訪了許多生活中的平凡人，傾聽眾人心中的“MR TOP”。無論是永不言敗的足球運動員、想開個人音樂會的鋼琴演奏者、想獲得大滿貫的網球選手、還是桃李滿天下的老師都有著自己心中的一份堅持。在MV後半部分，DJ小強炫酷出場，一段流利的RAP讓大家對小強有了一個全新的認識。
