創作背景

《Look At Me Now》是克里斯·布朗在說唱樂上的又一次嘗試。布朗將錄製歌曲的說唱部分當作一次尋樂的經歷，在此過程中也並未將自己定義為一位“說唱歌手”。歌曲製作方面，製作人Afrojack在完成歌曲節奏製作的部分工作後，將這份工作轉交給了另一位製作人托馬斯·韋斯利·潘茲/迪波洛（Diplo）。在迪波洛製作完成之後，他將這份節奏交給了布朗的一位詞曲作者。

克里斯·布朗、布斯塔·萊姆斯和李爾·韋恩三人在《Look At Me Now》具有東方元素的迷幻節拍上對唱。布朗的演唱部分中百分之九十為說唱。這部分聽起來很彆扭，不過布斯塔·萊姆斯三拍子的流暢說唱以及李爾·韋恩引人的段落挽回了這首歌曲。該歌曲的亮點則是布斯塔·萊姆斯尖銳的說唱段落，聽起來比萊姆斯其它的作品更加靈巧。
