Aly&AJ 由現年17歲的姐姐Alyson Renae Michalka(Aly)與現年15歲的妹妹Amanda Joy Michalka(AJ)所組成的Aly&AJ，兩人從小就在教堂的唱詩班中訓練歌唱技巧。Aly在六歲始學鋼琴彈奏，13歲時兼著把玩吉他，同時展開演戲生涯，AJ同樣會吉他與鋼琴外，更是模特兒與演員。從迪士尼頻道出身的Aly&AJ，演過多出戲劇以及演唱多支單曲出現在劇集當中，雖然年紀輕輕，但早已身經百戰朝著全方位藝人闊步邁進。 迅速簽入Hollywood Records的Aly&AJ，於2005年八月推出首張作品『Into The Rush』，創下金唱片銷售紀錄，一路熱賣至2006年，唱片公司決定改版再推出『Into The Rush』豪華加值版，請來資深製作人Jon Lind(Paula Abdul,Barry Manilow,Jesse McCartney)與Leah Haywood(Celine Dion)聯手操盤。充滿青春無敵的流行搖滾曲式"Chemicals React"，為改版獻上襯頭的首攻佳作；Aly&AJ主演的迪士尼電影「Cow Belles」則以"On The Ride"作為主題曲；2005年迪士尼獻出賣座勵志電影「冰上公主」，選擇抒情動人的"No One"配入戲中感動橋段之中；有著電子氣流過癮潤飾的搖滾佳作"Rush"，紛獲電玩遊戲以及電影「Twitches」青睞選用；同為青春偶像琳賽蘿涵主演之「金龜車賀比全速前進」，歡樂選用Aly&AJ翻唱Katrina And The Waves暢銷夏日搖擺曲"Walking On Sunshine"。
