在Trance電音界人才濟濟天王環似的情況下，DJ Tiesto（提雅斯多）無視Paul Van Dyk、Paul Okenfold的人氣夾殺下，依然擊敗強敵獲得DJ Magazine年終百大DJ評監冠軍，成為稱霸世界的Trance電音王者。荷蘭出生14歲就開始了他早熟的DJ事業，歷經多年的DJ生涯後Tiesto開始幫其他藝人混音並成立自己唱片公司Black Hole，一連推出7張叫好又叫座的《Magik》混音電音合輯系列。但令他登上電音界高峰的，便是他為了Sarah McLachlan量身混制的“The Silence”，4周UK單曲榜TOP 10的成績，真可謂名利雙收。此外讓人津津樂道便是他與Ferry Corsten (System F)合作的電音組合GOURYELLA，行雲流水的Trance舞曲，早已是全球個大Pub必備的國歌。

??2001年底，Tiesto獨自挑起大梁推出第一張完全自己混音、製作的大碟《IN MY MEMORY提雅斯多的魔音記憶》，專輯甫一發行立即變成所有音樂雜誌的高評監，頻頻推崇Tiesto出神入化電音技巧，巧妙地讓Trance真正成為至高的電子藝術，所營造出如夢似幻的迷音仙境，就像一幅幅花朵燦開的繪畫，既有深度又極其親近而讓人心神蕩漾。2002再次推出的《超值紀念盤》，除了原有日本指定盤外，還贈送一張集合電音名人御用混音的特別盤，其中收Way Out West、Airwave、Mauro Picotto、Svenson & Gielen…等人的絕妙混音，不聽可惜。
