對於這首單曲的評價有好也同樣有壞。Digital Spy的Mayer Nissim給予它3星（滿分5星）的評價，並說道：“這首歌的製作與旋律沒有足夠能讓它與近幾年的其他流行民謠歌曲來區分開來。” BBC樂評人Fraser McAlpine同樣給出了3星的（滿分5星）評價，稱：“諷刺的是，'I Got You'和'Run'幾乎是一個模子倒出來的，但是卻沒能複製Run的成功。但是前者我們可以看成Leona把一首Snow Patrol的歌唱出了自己的風格，而後者則是一首按照Snow Patrol的風格做出來的Leona情歌。”
