(第一季8集

第1集 – Big Bang 大爆炸

在140億年前，這裡什麼都沒有。直到大爆炸，大爆炸是空間和時間的原點。宇宙的一切都是由物質構成的，在大爆炸的一瞬間被創造出來。它鎖著我們過去的、現在的和未來的秘密，在空間和時間開始時，一個巨大的爆炸創造了萬物，宇宙瞬間出現，從絕對虛無變成一切，從一個比原子還小的點，產生所有的質量和能量，包括宇宙中的四千億個星系。

第2集 – Black Holes 黑洞

第3集 – Galaxies 星系

我們生活在一個叫做銀河的星系裡，銀河有幾十億顆恆星，我們的太陽只是其中之一。在已知的宇宙里有兩千億個星系，星系是恆星誕生和死亡的地方。星系裡有恆星、太陽系、行星和衛星，其實根據物理原理，星系應該飛散，那么是什麼力量凝聚它們？這力量叫做「黑物質」。星系來自何處？它們怎么運作？它們的未來是什麼？它們會怎么死？

第4集 – Stars 恆星

在可觀測的宇宙里，有超過一千億個星系。光是在我們的星系裡，就有一千億顆恆星。恆星數量超過地球上的沙粒。恆星，它們龐大、熾熱而無所不在，在暴力中誕生，在巨大爆炸中死亡的恆星使宇宙充滿星塵，構成生命的組件。你體內的每一個原子都是在恆星的熾熱核心裡產生的。恆星是使宇宙運轉的天體，一切生命都從這裡開始。

第5集 – Supernovas 超新星

一顆爆炸的超大恆星，叫做超新星。在宇宙史上，超新星是最大的「激變」。超新星有各種大小和類型，但它們全都非常亮，整個宇宙都能看到。超新星是你能想像的、最猛烈的恆星死亡。但是恆星慘烈的毀滅，也是我們周圍一切的誕生。超新星釋放比太陽大幾兆倍的能量，我們的行星、太陽和周圍的一切，都是一顆超新星爆炸後的殘餘物質形成的。

第6集 – Planets 行星

我們原本只知道環繞太陽運行的一些行星，但現在我們發現岩石行星和氣體巨行星，也在環繞其它恆星。我們的太陽系有四顆岩石行星，外太陽系有四顆氣體巨行星。地球被撞擊過許多次，縱然有水也早該氣化掉了，那么地球上的水是從哪裡來的？沒有水當然就沒有生命，但是宇宙中其它有水的行星呢？

第7集 – Solar Systems 太陽系

我們的太陽系有八顆行星和三百多顆衛星，今天看到的太陽系，其實只是早期混亂的最後生存者，在未來，混亂還會再回來。早期的太陽系不像今天的太陽系這么有序，它暴烈，它不安，數以億萬計的天體互相牽引、撞擊、吞沒。每個太陽系有一個共同點，都是從一顆恆星開始發展，恆星從叫做星雲的塵埃和氣體雲里誕生。

第8集 – Moons 衛星

在宇宙中，萬物好像都在環繞什麼東西運行，行星環繞恆星運行，衛星環繞行星運行，有些衛星有火山，但噴發出的是冰，有些衛星上面有浩瀚的海洋，有些衛星有大氣層圍繞，銀河系裡適合居住的衛星或許比適合居住的行星更多。衛星訴說我們太陽系中不為人知的故事，告訴我們它如何運作

第1集 - Volcanoes - The Furnaces Of Life 火山-生命的熔爐

火山雖然極具破壞力，但它噴出的熔岩可以造成新地，爆發的氣體亦能改變氣候，可說是地球生命的源頭。科學家從而推斷，如果外星也存在火山，可能象徵著存在生命；而同樣存在火山的火星，可否成為人類將來的居所？

第2集 - Megastorms - The Winds Of Creation 巨型風暴-創造之風

龍捲風、颶風、雪暴、閃電和洪水都是極具破壞力的自然現象，然而它們亦是推動地球運行的力量。氣候是其中一個令地球充滿生命的原因，即使是最強和最具摧毀性的風暴，亦會帶來生機。過去，人類不斷探索宇宙中是否有和地球相似的星球；科學家最近發現一種新方法：我們不應只尋找相似的星球，而是要尋找和地球有相似氣候的星體。他們認為，能套用在地球的定律，在其他星球應該亦能套用。節目將會在浩瀚的宇宙中，尋找和地球相似的巨型風暴，或者便能成為找到外星生命的線索。

第3集 - Exoplanets - Planets From Hell 系外行星-地獄星球

過去的二十年，人類不斷發掘地球以外的星體，期望找到另一個“天堂”。在銀河系中上百萬兆的星體當中，到底有沒有另一個地球？人類至今已發掘多於700個星球，但它們不但與地球沒半點相似的地方，反而是宇宙中的煉獄：有的溫度高達一千度、有的是零下數百度、更有布滿足以致命的輻射，或完全沒有光……地球能夠孕育生命，是因為它和太陽保持適當的距離，並且有水源。在浩瀚的宇宙中，還有500多億個尚未發掘的星球；科學家相信，人類仍然有可能找到另一個和地球條件相似，充滿生機的星球。

第4集 - Megaflares - Cosmic Firestorms 巨焰-宇宙大爆發

宇宙是一個極大的磁場，充滿隨時爆炸的星體。即使是太陽噴出的小火焰，也足以影響地球的通訊系統和能源，然而這也只是宇宙中眾多火焰的一小部份。在太空的某些星體會破裂和爆炸，磁場亦會令星體分裂，釋放出極具摧毀力的能量，在銀河系噴出的伽瑪射線更可以橫跨半個宇宙。隨著科學家掌握更多有關宇宙中種種“武器”的研究和資料。人類開始認識宇宙最危險的巨型火焰，而科學家下一步要探索的是，地球會否成為這些無情火焰所吞噬的對象？

第5集 - Extreme Orbits - Clockwork And Creation 極端軌道-軌道與創造

“軌跡”是推動宇宙的動力，從最小的行星到龐大的銀河系，宇宙中的一切都在軌跡中運行。地球能孕育生命，並讓人類安然居住，全賴它有規律地依循穩定的軌跡運行。然而在宇宙中，大部份的軌跡並不像地球般穩定，大多是混亂，多變和猛烈的。我們的太陽系統以外的星體，由於運行軌跡不穩定，它們會焚毀，互相殲滅，更有威力無比的黑洞，摧毀在它們軌跡內運行的所有東西。雖然如此，從巨觀角度來看，軌跡也是一種創意動力；在銀河的層面上，軌跡更是建構宇宙的重要元素。

第6集 - Comets - Frozen Wanderers 彗星-冰凍漫遊者

彗星划過大氣層的時候，拖著一條長長的閃爍尾巴——就是我們在地球所見，偶爾在天空出現的流星。但原來彗星除了燦爛之外，在現代科學中亦占據著獨特的位置。彗星自古就存在，很可能就是解開宇宙秘密的鑰匙，甚或是生命的源頭。節目會展示彗星誕生的奇妙歷程：從一塊結凍的大石頭，飛過太陽系統，繼而演變為一顆極為活躍，被氣體包圍的星核。彗星的形成帶來一個啟示：它遠比人類所想像的更神秘，更迷人！

第7集 - Asteroids - Worlds That Never Were 小行星-前所未有的世界

科學家推測，恐龍也是因為小行星撞向地球而絕種；但除此以外，遠古的小行星亦可能是建構地球、帶給地球生命的主因。小行星不但影響地球的過去，亦大大影響我們的未來。它們是“宇宙殖民地”的最佳位置，亦可能是令人類移居太空的重要踏腳石。太空中有各種各樣的小行星：冰封的、純鐵造的……科學家一直致力解開小行星的秘密。它們會否孕育新的星體？又是否操控不同星體的“生死大權”？

第8集 - Birth of the Earth 地球誕生

地球上有過十億種動、植物；這些生命並非從星球誕生之初就存在。地球曾經歷劇烈的地殼變動、火山爆發及星體相撞等，才逐漸演變成生機勃勃的星球。宇宙中會否有另一個星體，像地球一樣經歷連串的變化而孕育出生命？這樣的機會看似渺茫，但從地球的誕生過程來看，在浩瀚的宇宙中，另一個“地球”絕對有可能存在。因此，科學家不再徘徊在“到底有沒有另一個地球”的問題上，而是“另一個地球到底距離我們有多遠”。
