樂隊簡介
2007年，一位名叫亞當·揚（Adam Young）的美國大學二年級學生在明尼蘇達州創建了貓頭鷹之城（Owl City）樂隊，亞當·揚是該樂隊的唯一成員，樂隊的創作、編曲、混音合成、主唱全由亞當·揚擔任。樂隊成立不久，便發行了首張EP《Of June》。2008年樂隊發行了首張專輯《Maybe I’m Dreaming》。2009年，樂隊先後發行了單曲《Hot Air Balloon》、《Strawberry A valanche》，2009年7月14日樂隊發行了全新專輯《Ocean Eyes》，其中專輯的主打歌曲《Fireflies》更是一舉躍上美國Billboard榜單的冠軍寶座和itunes下載排名的冠軍位置。貓頭鷹之城在發行樂隊的第一張專輯以及主要單曲時都是未和唱片公司簽約的，直到2009年的早些時候，亞當·揚才同著名的音樂廠牌“Crazed Hits”簽約，準備樂隊的全新專輯《Ocean Eyes》。
近段時間不斷創作出一首首單曲。如：《The Technicolor Phase》、《In Christ Alone》、《Peppermint Winter》、《How Deep The Father's Love For Us》、《lonely lullaby》、《To The Sky》等。隨著一首又一首的單曲出現，冬粉們期盼專輯能早日誕生。終於在2011年，主唱Adam Young宣布了新磚創作的訊息。
