終於，在連續七周的雨傘冠軍周之後， Rihanna的《Umbrella》被來自芝加哥的 Plain White T’s (中文是「就是白樂團」) 的 《Hey There Delilah》這首對女孩溫柔細語的歌曲硬生生的打了下來。《Hey There Delilah》這首歌從2007年的June23(年輕小伙子和粗獷女聲)這周的榜單開始大幅前進，從原本十六名跑到了第六名的位置，然後，June30跑到第五名，July07這周又前進到第四名，July14這周又悄悄到第三名，July21這周又跑到第二名，而July28終於登上冠軍！原來他們從六周前，就開始悄悄一名一名地往冠軍之路邁進，嗯！厲害！是時候仔細聽這首歌了。
這首歌在Wikipedia歸類的風格為Acoustic和Alternative rock，最開始是在Plain White T’s於2005年發行的專輯「All That We Needed」(台灣似乎沒有代理，但2006年發行的「Hey there Delilah」單曲可在KKBOX聽)里放在最後一首，當時是第三主打。本來都是獨立發行的他們，直到兩年後、也就是07年6月，這首歌慢慢被發現，才真的成為這個樂團的第一首打入美國流行音樂市場的歌曲，我想應該跌破不少人的眼鏡吧！
