歌曲創作

McCartney在等Lennon起床時，在Lennon位於Weybridge的家中創作了這首歌。“我坐在泳池旁的一張太陽椅上，拿著吉他，從E調彈起，”McCartney回憶到，“然後我就有了一些和弦，到他起床的時候，我已經寫了很多了，所以我們在屋內繼續把歌寫完了。”

在美劇《Friends》中，這首歌在Phoebe Buffay婚禮時走過走道時用鋼鼓演奏。這是《Friends》里McCartney寫的歌第二次被使用；第一次是Chandler和Monica結婚時的《My Love》。

多次擔任The Beatles錄音工程師的Geoff Emerick,把這首歌用作他2006年的回憶錄書名，《Here, There, and Everywhere: My Life Recording the Music of The Beatles》。
