Dust in the Wind是美國前衛搖滾樂隊Kansas的經典之作，為樂隊第五張錄音室專輯《Point of Know Return》（1977年）中的第二支單曲，為樂隊唯一的Billboard Hot 100 Top 10歌曲。這首抒情的曲子除了沙啞的男主唱，還有吉他伴奏，和小提琴的間奏。曲裡帶著一點憂傷，與獨行的悲涼。在屬於民歌自彈自唱的年代，很多人也將他奉為經典。這首歌是被民謠吉他界奉為瑰寶的作品，為不可多得的傳世經典之一。

歌手簡介

1970年成軍的老牌搖滾樂團KANSAS是第一個使用美國地名作為團名的搖滾團體，也是第一個將小提琴融入搖滾樂的團體，他們的音樂往往都在兩種完全不同的方向中進行，不過在編曲和伴奏上往往也都能夠配合著主題的化而有所轉變，這也是他們特有的音樂風格。其紮實寬廣的作風及前衛的實驗精神，奠立了其在搖滾史上不可動搖的地位，許多對80年代後期搖滾樂風影響甚大的作品皆出自他們之手，其中被民謠吉他界奉為瑰寶的作品《Dust In The Wind》即為不可多得的傳世經典之一。
