《Anaconda》的製作人之一皮羅·利達·唐於2014年8月5日在社交網路上透露，她曾經邀請過說唱女歌手梅西·埃麗奧特來演唱《Anaconda》，但是被梅西·埃麗奧特拒絕了。然後皮羅·利達·唐重新錄製了這首歌，讓妮琪·米娜來演唱。《Anaconda》選錄了說唱說唱男歌手Sir Mix-a-Lot的歌曲《Baby Got Back》的片段。
