本規範是一項新頒布的國家標準，由中華人民共和國住房和城鄉建設部第1162號公告批准，編號為GB50059-2011，自2012年8月1日才煉戲漏起實施。其中1條為強制性條文，牛旋頸必須嚴格執行。原《35kV～110kV變再檔愚多電所設計規範》GB50059-92同時廢止全催。本規範共分8章3個附錄，主要內容有：總則，站址選擇和站區布置，電氣部分，土建部分，消防，環境保護，勞動安全和職業衛生，節能。本規範附條文說明。本規範適用旋精拜於電壓35kV～110kV、單台變壓戒判籃器容量500kV·A及以上的新建、改建和改造工程的變電站設計。
