龔剛還是jornal of Macroeconomics、Metroeconomic等著名國際雜誌評審人(referee)。研究方向為非線性動態總量經濟學，金融市場和巨觀經濟的相互作用，隨機動態規劃，經濟學和金融學的可計算方法，美國、歐洲和亞洲經濟的比較等，在被SSI和SCI等檢索的國際學術期刊上發表論文十多篇，併合著有兩本英文專著：The Force of Economic Growth(2005年3月由Princeton University Press出版)和Stochastic Dynamic Macroeconomics(2006年1月由Oxford University Press出版）。

人物經歷
1983年獲上海海運學院學士學位，1986年獲碩士學位，後赴美就讀於美國New School University，1998年獲博士學位。畢業後曾在上海海運學院、南非約翰內斯堡國家經濟政策研究所(NIEP)、美國新學院大學、美國紐約大學、德國Bielefeld大學實證巨觀研究中心，2002年歸國在清華大學經濟管理學院任教，2005年9月至2006年8月在荷蘭Leiden大學任Philips客座教授。2007年加盟南開，現為南開大學經濟學院經濟學系教授、博士生導師。
社會兼職：
