《高級英語視聽說教程3：教師用書》（引進改編版）是系列教材的一本，這套教材體現了國內外聽力教學的發展趨勢，尤其是在如何聽懂英語專題講座，並根據講座內容作課上筆記方面設計了各種語言輸入的活動與練習，集中訓練學習者的聽力與記錄能力。本教材的主要目標是：提高學習者聽力，提高學習者聽講座記筆記的能力，深入了解美國的社會、文化與生活。通過大量的聽力輸入使學習者具備口語產出能力；通過視頻錄像，模擬課堂講座氣氛，使學習者有身臨外教教學課堂的感覺，創造一定的語言環境。此外，教材的每一冊都做到了由易到難，由短到長，由簡到繁，梯度把握適中。
