科研工作
主要研究方向為冠心病介入治療、心血管疾病的現代康復治療、冠心病及心力衰竭的臨床和基礎研究。作為課題負責人先後主持10餘項省部級科研課題,包括國家“十五”攻關課題、衛生部部屬(管)醫院臨床學科重點項目、十一.五科技支撐計畫重大項目子課題、十一.五國家重點基礎研究發展計畫-973計畫課題子課題負責人、教育部博士點基金、十一.五“863”計畫課題、國家自然科學基金重點項目-培育項目、北京大學臨床研究項目、國家自然科學基金、北京市自然基金、十.五國家科技攻關計畫課題、十.五國家高技術研究發展計畫(863計畫)課題等。已培養研究生50餘人,出站博士後2人。主編心血管學術專著2部,主譯3部,參加編寫專著或教材30餘部。發表學術論文150餘篇。
學術兼職
兼任中華醫學會心血管病學分會常委及冠心病與動脈硬化學組組長;中國康復醫學會心血管病專業委員會副主任委員、中國醫師協會康復醫師分會心肺康復專業委員會副主任委員、中國醫師協會心血管病學分會常委、中國醫療促進會心血管分會常委、中國老年保健協會心血管專業委員會常委、北京醫師協會心血管病專業委員會副會長、北京康復醫學會心肺康復分會副主任委員等。

獲獎情況
曾獲優秀教師、北京市醫德標兵、中國介入心臟病學傑出貢獻獎,介入性心臟病學突出貢獻獎,中國醫師協會2012年度心血管醫師獎。作為主要參與者獲得衛生部科技進步二等獎及三等獎,國家科技進步三等獎。
