協會介紹

香港專業輔導協會（The Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association Limited，簡稱HKPCA），根據《公司條例》（the Company Ordinance）在香港註冊，成立於1995年。 當意識到在促進專業標準和發展心理輔導服務的本地化需求方面亟需一個本土組織的時候，由一些已經在亞洲心理學和教育學輔導員協會（香港分會）註冊的經驗豐富的從業者和學者，共同成立了香港專業輔導協會（HKPCA）。截至2016年，共有院士24人，副院士253人，會員693人。

協會任務

• 促進心理輔導學科在香港的執業標準 To promote the standard of practice of counselling in Hong Kong.
  
• 促進心理輔導學科在香港的研究、以及研究成果的出版 To advance researches including the publication of researches in the field of counselling in Hong Kong.
  
• 建立心理輔導學科的職業道德規範標準、為心理輔導學科在香港的教育提供指導 To establish ethical standards and provide guidance for counselling education in Hong Kong.
  
• 促進社會心理健康，提升對心理輔導學科的理解和接受程度，發展和維護心理輔導服務 To enhance the understanding and acceptance of counselling and to develop and maintain counselling services for the promotion of mental health in society.
