《飯店管理專業英語》一書出版後受到不少讀者的青睞，印數上萬冊。為了更好地服務讀者，本書第二版對第一版的部分內容進行了更新和替換，具體如下：刪除了原Unit 4 Human Resources Management (Ⅱ)、Unit 6 Hospitality and Service Management和Unit 16 Case Study: Accor Group三個單元，用Organizational Structure of a Hotel、Customer Relationship Management和Case Study: Marriott進行替換;增加了Case Study: A Day in the Life of the Front Office Manager和Management of Legal Environment兩單元新內容;並對原書章節順序進行了調整，對一些文字、拼寫等錯誤進行了修改。
