主要研究方向為天文技術與方法。在 SVOM 任務中擔任“科學運行分系統副主任設計師”,負責 SVOM GRB 警報處理系統的方案設計和研發, 負責SVOM ToO Tools的方案設計和研發;參與完成了 SVOM BA Tools 和 ToO Tools的需求分析。SVOM GRB 警報處理系統、 BA tools和ToO Tools已參加兩輪 SVOM 系統級測試,完成全部測試項目,滿足各項指標要求;還承擔SVOM 地基光學望遠鏡後隨觀測網路構建任務。為此,開展瞭望遠鏡動態規劃技術,望遠鏡網路中通信時序控制技術,數據中心管理機制等關鍵技術研究。基於上述技術的SVOM/GWAC-N 網路在2019-2020 觀測季中,共自動觀測 17 個引力波事件;目前,正主導開展SVOM 關鍵子系統之一的“科學用戶支持系統“ 的GP tools的研發。
