霍紅衛,西安電子科技大學計算機學院教授、博士生導師。先後於西北大學獲數學學士學位,西安電子科技大學分別獲計算機軟體與理論及電子工程碩士和博士學位。受到Jeffrey S. Vitter教授邀請,曾在堪薩斯大學工作一年。IEEE高級會員(Senior Member)。中國計算機學會高級會員。

人物簡介

大數據算法理論與套用(Lab of Algorithm Theories and Applications for Big Data)實驗室主任。主持國家自然科學基金、預研、南京大學計算機軟體新技術國家重點實驗室、華為基金等多項科研項目。主要研究方向包括算法理論,壓縮索引與檢索,壓縮數據結構,壓縮機器學習,基因組數據壓縮與模式搜尋,圖資料庫壓縮索引與相似性搜尋,並行與分散式算法,外存算法,算法工程。在《Knowledge-Based Systems》,《IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (TCBB)》, IEEE Data Compression Conference (DCC), ACM-SIAM Algorithm Engineering and Experiments (ALENEX), Proceedings of the International Symposium on String Processing and Information Retrieval (SPIRE)等國內外重要刊物和會議發表學術論文90餘篇。出版算法有關的著作6本。
