2005年入選教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計畫。現任中國科學技術大學計算機科學與技術學院副院長,多媒體計算與通信教育部-微軟重點實驗室副主任,中國人工智慧學會知識工程與分布智慧型專業委員會副主任委員、機器學習專委會委員,中國計算機學會人工智慧與模式識別專委會委員。
陳恩紅擔任了ICTAI 2006、ICTAI 2007、AIRS2009、AIRS2010、KDD2010等30餘個國際學術會議的程式委員等。
2018年6月被聘為上海市決策諮詢委員會委員。

主講課程

碩士生課程:機器學習與知識發現、高級人工智慧;
本科生課程:人工智慧基礎、數理邏輯等。

研究方向

語義Web、 機器學習與數據挖掘、網路信息處理、約束滿足問題。

主要貢獻

作為項目主要成員,參與過包括國家自然科學基金、863、973計畫等多個項目。作為項目負責人,承擔了20多項科研項目,其中包括4項國家自然科學基金項目、1項國家自然科學重點項目(第2承擔單位)、1項863計畫項目、1項教育部博士點基金項目、2項教育部科技發展中心專項課題、2項安徽省自然科學基金項目,以及與微軟亞洲研究院、諾基亞、阿里巴巴、華為科技公司等的合作項目等。
在國內外重要學術期刊Theoretical Computer Science、WWW Journal、Information Processing and Management 和數據挖掘領域重要國際學術會議KDD、WWW、SIGIR、ICDM、CIKM等上發表學術論文90餘篇,其中,在數據挖掘的國際頂級會議KDD2008上的論文獲最佳套用論文獎(Best Application Paper Award)。
