阿治曼大學，原稱阿治曼理工大學，2016年更為現名。學校位於阿治曼酋長國，創辦於1988 年，是海灣阿拉伯國家合作委員會國家中的第一所私立大學，也是阿聯第一所接收外籍學生的大學。
該校下設九個學院，專業達30 個，涵蓋人文、理工、醫學、法學、管理等學科門類，開設24個本科課程，9個碩士課程及3個博士課程。

1988年6月17日，阿治曼酋長國胡邁德·本·拉希德·阿勒納伊米酋長殿下頒布法令，創辦阿治曼理工大學學院（Ajman University College of Science and Technology, AUCST）。
1988年9月15日，學校正式開學。
1997年，學校更名為阿治曼理工大學（Ajman University of Science and Technology, AUST）。
2016年11月3日，學校更名為阿治曼大學（Ajman University, AU）。

學校領導
阿治曼大學的現任校長是Karim Seghir博士。Karim Seghir出生於法國。
1997年畢業於突尼西亞大學數學專業，獲理學學士學位；
1998年畢業於巴黎第一大學，獲理學碩士學位；
2002年畢業於巴黎第一大學，獲博士學位；
2002年9月至2004年九月，於里斯本新大學從事博士後研究；
2003年，於里約熱內盧天主教大學任訪問學者；
2004年9月至2006年9月，於貝魯特美國大學任經濟學助理教授。
2010年，於智利大學任訪問學者。
2011年6月，任開羅美國大學商學院副院長，主管本科生教學與管理，期間為學院取得AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA三大認證。
2014年7月，任開羅美國大學商學院院長。
Seghir博士是《哈佛商業評論》阿拉伯語版諮詢委員會成員。
