長沙中山外語學院

長沙中山外國語進修學院創立於1991年7月，1997年經省教委批准在國家教委備案成為湖南省首批高等教育國家學歷文憑考試試點院校。

學校概況

2002年7月還被評為湖南省一類學院和優秀學院，2002年7月還被全國政協列為"全國民辦名校"之一，並贈予"上榜院校"銅牌。學院現有全日制在校學生四千餘人（含預科），是全省規模最大的社辦大學之一。

院址位於長沙市南大橋北，交通十分便利。校內場地寬闊，綠樹成蔭，環境幽雅。教學樓、電腦房、多媒體教室、模具總廠、數控加工中心、宿舍、食堂、禮堂、圖書館、運動場、醫務室等各種教學與生活設施配套齊全，是廣大青年學予求學的理想場所。 就業上崗 前景廣闊由於我院管理嚴、質量高、聲譽好，學生動口、動手能力強，整體素質高，所學專業為當前社會把急需，人才市場和用人單位十分看好我院畢業生。

就業工作

領導一貫重視畢業生就業工作。在長期工作中積累了豐富的就業推薦工作經驗，形成了一整套行之有效的推薦方法，在許多內地和沿海城市設立了畢業生就業辦事處，與珠江三角洲等地一批著名三資企業建立了長期的人才供求關係，畢業生就業渠道十分暢通。以往各屆畢業生凡要求學校推薦的，學院都做到了100%推薦。我院畢業生就業的特點主要表現在就業快（幾百個畢業生往往只需要幾天時間）、崗位好、工資高（試用期包吃住包住月工資一般在1000以上，高的達3000多元）、後勁強（還在試用期就被單位選派出國、試用期滿後迅速升職提薪、半年後月工資達2000~3000元、一兩年後自開公司、自辦企業的為數不少）、學生和用人單位雙向滿意等方面。我院畢業生就業前景十分廣闊。 管理嚴格 質量上乘學院治學嚴謹，管理嚴格，有一整套規範化、程式化、科學化的管理制度。教師精心執教，學生勤奮學習，校風好，學風濃，教學質量高。

教學成果

近幾年學生參加全國統考，合格率真和人均成績均居全省國家大學英語三、四、六級考試通過率均90%以上。2004年12月1日湖南省人事廳發布在136號檔案專題公布了我省2004年度國際商務專業人員職業資格考試合格人員名單。在總共56名合格者中，有45名來自省內各著名公、民辦大學，其中9名是我院在校學生，占全省公、民辦大學考試合格者的五分之一，一時傳為佳話。學院強調學生實用能力的培養，重視學生語言運用能力的訓練，大多數學生的英語口語流利，口、筆譯能力較強，中文表達流暢，漢字書寫工整規範，能熟練操作各種常用的電腦軟體系統，嫻熟辦公自動化業務及專業電腦設計。 學院再次鄭重承諾：凡思想品質好、遵守校紀校規、畢業成績合格者，學院保證100%優先推薦工作！

院長致辭

學生可以聆聽傑出人士的演講，可以觀賞國外原版電影。在教室里，學生足不出戶即可收看國外二十多個頻道的外語節目。一流的設施為打造高品質的專業外語學院提供了強有力的硬體保證。 “學習外語環境最重要”。鑒於此，學院著力於營造具有異域特色的外語學習氛圍。學院獨樹“歐式規劃、歐式建築、歐式園林和歐式景觀”的建築風格，使學生猶如置身於異國他鄉。在校園裡，看到的是外文，聽到的是外文，開口說的還是外文。在這裡，學生不僅接受正規、系統的聽、說、讀、寫、譯訓練，而且逐漸養成了良好的外語思維習慣。

能象運用母語一樣熟練地、地道地運用外語。這一獨特的外語氛圍不僅形成了學院的一大特色，而且在國內高校中也是不多見的。在這樣的外語氛圍下，學院已湧現出全國大學生英語口語大賽安徽賽區一等獎獲得者李虹等一大批優秀的學員。校園內，學員喜外語、說外語、用外語的氛圍空前濃烈。學院視教學質量為生命線，矢志不移地將師資隊伍。

建設放在首位，全力實施名校名師工程。學院現有教師286人，高級職稱占32%。我省外語界資深學者何鐘森、楊善祿、喻家樓等教授在教學及學術研究中擔任要職。學院還聘請了Bejamin、堀田良彥、角田毅（日本）等多名外籍教師擔綱英語和日語口語課的教學，使學生受到良好的語言薰陶和聽、說訓練。學院樹立國際化的教育理念。

致力於造就“涉外白領階層”，將學生培養成既精通外語，又具備國際商務頭腦，掌握國際貿易規則和國際慣例的複合型、套用型涉外領域專門人才。學院現設有國際商學系。

Changsha Zhongshan Foreign Languages Institute (ZSFLI) is a new style, full-time private institute created during the recent period of reforms and opening to the outside world. It was founded in July,1991 by some famous educational experts and was selected as one of the first experimental institutes by Hunan Educational Committee and put on file by the State Educational Committee in May,1997. Since 1996 the school has been regarded as the first-class and excellent one in Hunan province for four successive years. ZSFLI consists of three parts: South A, South B and North. The headquarter is in the North ,situated on 163, Qingyuan Road with beautiful scenery around it. Now it contains 4 majors: Applied English, Business English, Secretary and Tourism. There are more than 3000 full-time students at present(including students in preparatory stage) with a staff of more than 180, comprising 50 professors and vice professors, 70 lecturers. Besides, a number of professors and experts in other units are invited to work as part-time teachers. After ten years’ enterprise, the school has advanced facilities, including 7 PC rooms, 10 Phonetics rooms and 3 teaching monitoring systems in the president offices. Every classroom is equipped with colour TV set, VCD and other teaching equipment. Every dormitory has a telephone 201. For ten years, sparing no efforts to push ahead with educational reform and adhering to the principles of professionalism, adaptability and flexibility, the school has done a lot to stress the practical training of the students and improve their ability. It is proven that the students have really benefited from learning the required subjects. For instance, in all examinations, especially the National English Band 3、Band 4 and Band 6 Examinations, the school has been among the best of successful candidates. More than 2000 graduates have obtained various posts mainly in coastal cities or special economic zones. The investigation made by tracking of students indicates that the graduates are hardworking and able to adapt themselves to new circumstances, and they possess practical ability and competitive capacity. They are growing into an important force in economic construction. At the threshold of the 21th century, confronted with the opportunities and challenges after China’s participation in WTO and faced with the boom of private education, we, full of pride, enthusiasm and confidence, are seeking for further development and taking the road of educational industrialization to build ZSFLI into the first-class private foreign languages institute.
