研究方向
日地能量耦合、磁層亞暴、太陽與磁層活動現象研究,磁場重聯,無碰撞磁場重聯,Hall電流及電子壓力梯度效應研究。
研究成果
在磁場重聯、磁層與太陽活動現象的研究工作中取得具有國際先進水平的研究成果,率先給出重聯區域內溫度、密度分布及其隨時間的演化。首先提出臨界磁雷諾數概念,研究結果所展現的高磁雷諾數長電流片的非穩態重聯,引起國際著名學者關注。通過數值模擬展示了通量傳輸和太陽大氣中爆發事件的觀測特徵,在探討這些事件觀測特徵的物理機理方面作出了有價值的貢獻,所發表論文在國內外重要刊物上多次被引用,國際同行權威人士在評論文章中曾予以詳細評述與充分肯定。“磁場重聯的數值研究”榮獲96年度安徽省教委科技進步一等獎和97年度中國科學院自然科學二等獎(排名第一)。最近關於磁層亞暴期間磁尾多重電漿團的2.5維MHD模擬,取得了出色成果,研究論文已在J.Geophys.Res.發表,該論文在認知磁尾電漿團豐富的觀測資料方面,具有重要的科學意義,受到國內外同行的好評。承擔國家自然科學基金面上項目,合作參與國家自然科學基金重點項目、重大項目多項。
