研究內容
正在參加中科院高能所的正負電子對撞機BESIII實驗與CERN大型強子對撞機LHCb實驗，主要研究可能導致的宇宙中正反物質的不對稱的CP破缺問題，以及物質的基本結構及其之間相互作用的夸克禁閉等相關問題。在國科大校部建立了探測器電子學實驗室，特色為研製厚型電子倍增器（THGEM）。參與錦屏深地實驗室中微子探測實驗，研究太陽中微子、地球中微子及超新星遺蹟中微子。

2018年至今，推動高亮度正負電子對撞實驗“超級tau-粲工廠”研發項目，擔任項目經理
2016年加入歐洲核子研究中心（CERN）的大型強子對撞機LHCb實驗合作組
2007年加入北京正負電子對撞機BESIII國際合作組以來，先後擔任合作的粲物理組組長、物理協調人、執行委員會委員、聯合發言人等崗位
2007年至今，在中國科學院大學擔任教授
2003年至2007年，在加州大學洛杉磯分校物理系任博士後研究員及研究科學家職位，參加了歐洲核子研究中心CERN的CMS實驗以及Fermilab的CDF實驗合作
2002年至2003年，在美國夏威夷大學物理系進行博士後研究，參加了日本KEK的Belle實驗合作
