《遙遠星際》（《Farscape》）是一部科幻、冒險電視劇，又名《銀河迷返》、《遙遠星空》，1999年3月19日開始首播，已播出四季，每季22集。是美國著名的電視劇之一。
該劇講的是一個有關飛行員約翰遭遇突發事件後又回到地球這一過程所發生的事以及指揮魔亞號擊退侵略地球的外星戰艦的故事

浩瀚的太空，飛行員約翰突遇意外事件，被宇航船拋出，陷入一個奇異的星際軌道。他穿梭1000個星繫到達了一個神秘的星球，那裡漂浮著地球傳說中遙遠的“摩亞方舟”飛船，飛船里有來自不同星球的成員，他們都是無家可歸的人。約翰決定加入他們，並帶領大家尋找地球道路但他們不曾料到，眾多的外星人和外星生物早已對地球航線虎視眈眈。
在飛行過程中，“摩亞”遇到了“和平衛士”的追擊，雙方數次激戰，在一次混戰中，“和平衛士”首腦克瑞斯痛失弟弟，發誓要用盡一切手段將“摩亞”摧毀變成一屢輕煙與此同時，“摩亞”水晶能量器忽然失蹤，約翰斷定是內奸所為，決定展開鋤奸行動......經過多次交鋒，“摩亞”粉碎了克瑞斯陰謀，逃出生天。
因核反應堆動力裝置破裂。“摩亞”降落在西卡行星上進行緊急維修。無意中，約翰發現了飛船上隱匿已久的危機和一個重大的陰謀......
約翰經過一次次戰鬥的洗禮，逐漸成為一個真正的領袖，而“摩亞”也慢慢聚集了巨大的能量，擊退了外星戰艦的數次圍攻，“摩亞”戰士們一步步向地球前進......約翰終於找到了回地球的航線，並成功降落到地球，然而，此時的地球已不再是他們心目中理想的家園......
