1989年-1994年 中國科學技術大學 分子生物專業 本科。
1989年-2000年 美國肯塔基大學 營養科學專業 博士。
2008年至今 哈爾濱工業大學（威海）海洋科學與技術學院 副教授，哈工大博士生導師。
研究方向
1.分子營養學；2.細胞生物學；3.天然生物活性物質功能研究。
主要貢獻
已在Mol. Endocrinol.、Cancer letter、J. Cell. Physiol、J. Nutr. Biochem. 和 Free Radic. Biol. Med.等國際前沿刊物上發表多篇SCI收錄論文，其中單篇最高他引135篇次 (Y. Zhaoet.a. J. Am. Coll. Nutr. 23: 71-78)。
