2022年1月14日,廈門大學黨委常委會研究決定:不再聘任趙勤儉為廈門大學公共衛生學院副院長。
學術成就
自1997年起在世界著名藥企默克公司從事生物藥物相關的研製工作。在疫苗、治療性蛋白的研發和生產中建立了多種關鍵的研究工具和質控手段。作為主要成員參與了世界第一個癌症疫苗的研製全過程,負責其中部分關鍵工藝的研發及產品的質量控制。2010年入選中組部國家級人才,次年回國全職擔任廈門大學公共衛生學院教授、博導,主要從事生物大分子藥物質量分析與新型佐劑方面的研究,其最佳化後的鋁佐劑現已成功助力國家疫苗中心自主研發的戊肝疫苗及HPV16/18雙價苗(已獲批上市)等國產疫苗中。由其主導研發的鋅鋁複合佐劑、新型雙膦酸佐劑已申請5項專利,並已將其套用到重組新冠疫苗及流感疫苗研發當中。學術方面,在Science Translational Medicine、PNAS、Trends in Biotechnology等國際知名期刊共發表130餘篇SCI論文,其中第一作者、共第一作者或通訊作者80餘篇;作為通訊作者共發表國內(核心)期刊中文文章21篇,申請或授權專利共8項(其中中國專利6項,美國專利2項),並擔任多個知名疫苗專業期刊雜誌編委。
