科研成果
1982-1985年從事東秦嶺造山帶蛇綠岩研究，
1985-1988年從事山東地體構造和郯廬斷裂研究，
1989-1991年研究我國東南沿海碰撞造山帶，
1995-1998年研究中國西北部侏羅系盆地構造和青藏高原羌塘盆地構造演化，
1991-2001年從事塔里木盆地西北緣構造特徵研究，
1999-2002年研究大巴山和米倉山前的褶皺沖斷構造。
2002年以來主持研究國家十五科技攻關項目二級專題—重點前陸盆地複雜構造解析。正式發表的學術論文60餘篇，專著 3 本。
學術獎勵
- 斷層相關褶皺的發現和再生前陸盆地及其與油氣聚集的關係，2001年 獲中國高校科學技術二等獎
