賈國東，1969年生，河北人，男，現任中國科學院廣州地球化學研究所研究員，中國礦物岩石地球化學學會和第四紀科學研究會會員。

近年來主要從事與地球表層過程和環境演變有關的有機地球化學和生物地球化學等方面的工作。通過對中國邊緣海區有機地球化學沉積記錄的提取，重建了東亞晚新生代植被變遷和表層海水溫度變化的歷史。通過對現代土壤、泥炭及水體顆粒物和沉積物中的有機質、營養鹽及其碳氫氮同位素的研究探討了近現代環境變化、單糖類化合物的植物指示意義、流域和海洋氮循環、以及生物標誌物的碳氫同位素的植被、降水和山脈高程的指示意義等方面的科學問題。目前感興趣的研究內容有：（1）晚新生代，特別是第四紀以來，地球環境系統演變的有機生物地球化學重建。這方面的工作主要集中於海洋和陸相沉積物的研究，從事沉積物中分子有機地球化學指標及相關的C、H、N同位素的分析提取工作。目的是深入了解海洋生態系統、營養鹽循環系統、陸地水汽和生態系統在古全球變化中的相互作用及其反饋機制；（2）現代環境中天然有機物和氮化合物的分子及同位素地球化學特徵及其對環境的回響。通過對現代環境系統中的天然有機質和氮循環的生物地球化學過程的了解，可以為古環境指標的有效套用提供科學依據。
