1998年畢業於華中農業大學食品科技系並獲得食品科學工學學士;2001年畢業於華中農業大學生命科學與技術學院獲得微生物學碩士;隨後進入上海交通大學生命科學技術學院工作,從助教(2001.7-2003.8)升至講師(2003.8-至今),2004年 3月-2008年3月攻讀在職博士研究生。

研究興趣一直聚焦於核苷酸代謝,包括基礎代謝中DNA磷硫醯化,羥甲基化,糖羥甲基化等異常修飾形成和識別的分子機理;以及次級代謝中具有良好生物活性的核苷類抗生素的生物合成,如殺稻瘟菌素,米多黴素和精黴素的生物合成的酶學研究。
目前主持國家自然科學基金面上項目1項;作為863子課題項目負責人參與項目2項;作為大洋協會子課題項目負責人參與項目1項。
