生平簡述
諾曼·陶洛格(Norman Taurog)1899年2月23日生於芝加哥。13歲時當舞台演員，不久在百老匯舞台演出。1927年在紐約加入電影公司拍片，開始了他的電影生涯。1928年開始當導演，1931年替派拉蒙導兒童故事片《史凱派》，獲得第四屆奧斯卡金像，最佳導演獎，該片是他戰前的代表作。戰後，他的代表作轉向喜劇發展 。
