蘇州市冶金資源高效利用與冶金製備技術重點實驗室依託於蘇州大學沙鋼鋼鐵學院,於2013年12月通過蘇州市科技局批准正式成立。實驗室依託蘇州大學“冶金工程”和“金屬材料工程”學科,學術研究立足於冶金和金屬材料學科的前沿,從冶金製備、資源利用、材料成型等層次研究冶金生產的科學和工程問題,為冶金新材料、新技術、新工藝、新產品的開發及產品質量改善和資源高效利用提供理論和實驗依據。實驗室的主要研究方向有:高性能材料冶金製備技術、冶金資源高效利用和金屬材料成形技術及控制等研究方向。
