研究方向及科研工作:
主要從事土石流與山地災害形成、古災害恢復與重建、土石流侵蝕產沙研究,以此為基礎開展土石流防災、減災技術研發。
近5年來主持國家自然科學基金面上項目2項,國家科技支撐計畫課題專題1項,中科院STS項目課題1項,參與973計畫項目1項,國家科技支撐計畫專題3項,四川省科技支撐計畫課題1項,國家自然科學基金重點項目1項。通過研究揭示了土石流沉積物釋光斷代機制,分析汶川震後土石流沉積特徵,奠定了區域土石流沉積環境與災變歷史的基礎;分析研究汶川地震、魯甸地震次生山地災害分布與活動特徵,開展震區山地災害野外監測預警技術的研發與示範研究,促進震後山地災害防災減災技術的發展;進行了水電工程區侵蝕產沙特徵的研究,揭示了土石流多發流域侵蝕產沙特點,為開展土石流綜合治理提供了依據。
