莊革，男，理學博士，中國科學技術大學教授，博士生導師，國家磁約束核聚變專家委員會委員，國際托卡馬克物理活動協調委員會委員，國家磁約束聚變堆總體設計組成員，中國物理學會電漿分會主任委員、中國核學會核聚變與電漿物理分會常務理事，新世紀優秀人才。

曾在法國原子能委員會受控核聚變研究所、瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院電漿物理研究中心以及華中科技大學聚變與電漿研究所進行研究工作。已主持和參與國家973計畫、國家自然科學基金、國家磁約束聚變發展專項等科研項目（課題）多項，發表SCI收錄文章兩百餘篇。
